I’ve discussed the typical morning routine of a blogger. On this post, I’ll be listing down the refreshing night routine to help increase productivity for the next day.
You do quite a lot of preparation before you tackle on day’s work. You even have a schedule of what to do to ensure productivity. But what happens after? As I’ve mentioned over and over again, business can be overwhelming. Especially if you don’t take some me-time to refresh. I usually have a set routine that I do at night to make sure I’ll be ready for the next day.
Night Routine To Help Increase Productivity
1. Enjoy a good show or a good game.
I usually spend sometime to watch an episode of my favorite television show. I enjoy laughing out loud at the end of the day and my favorite shows are usually really funny. If I don’t want to watch a tv show, I’d go online and play my favorite game (currently Fortnite or Sims 4). A few games usually help me unwind. If you’re not much of a tv person or a gamer, pick something light to do for half an hour or for an hour that will make you unload the day’s worries.
2. Take a warm bath.
I enjoy taking warm bath as part of my night routine. It’s like my little me time with pampering to myself. Taking warm bath helps in relaxing your body especially after a hectic schedule to loosen up your muscles. Taking warm bath at night also helps you sleep better.
3. Take time to care your for your skin.
Skin care night routine actually makes me feel relaxed. When I was still working full time, I always look forward to doing my night skin care routine to help refresh my face from the day’s work. Skin care is the same as working out for our body in a way that routine skin care makes our skin healthier.
4. Sleep early.
I make sure I have at least 7 hours of sleep. Less than 7 or more than 8 hours of sleep usually makes me feel tired after waking up. If my mind is still too wired up, I’d turn on my diffuser and my Calm app.
