Writing down and storing ideas for blog topics for when you are ready to sit down and write about it is something bloggers do to keep our blogs updated. Sometimes, ideas hit us at the time when we don’t our laptop ready or you are in the middle of a busy street. But you don’t want to lose those ideas just because you can’t write it down.
Living in New York, I get ideas while walking the streets of Manhattan. But it can get crowded especially during weekends and holidays. There are so many inspirations that could pop up while walking through the crowded streets but personally, I’ve had some days when I forget them or even felt like its incomplete once I get home. So to help me remember them and what I have been planning to write about it, I found some ways to store those ideas that don’t need me to stop for more than 5 minutes.
Storing ideas for blog topics
If you see something that you can make a topic of, you can take a quick picture of it. More often than not, seeing the photo again makes us remember the topic we wanted to write about
2. Voice Recorder
Smart phones has apps that you can use to record your voice so when an idea hits you, you can just grab your phone and talk into it so you don’t have to stop to find somewhere to write.
3. Writing Apps
Iphones has iClouds and Android has Google Drive. You can write your ideas in a document then upload them so you can access them in your computer once you get home.
4. Pen and Paper
I personally use pen and paper but when I’m struck with different ideas, I’d stop by in a nearby bench or cafe to jot them down before heading again to where I need to be.
What method do you use in storing ideas for blog topics that just suddenly pops up just when its inconvenient to take out your laptop?
