Once you decided to set up your blog as a business, you would want to make your presence known to social media. But having different social media accounts can be difficult to manage. Thankfully, there are social media apps and tools that you can use to make managing social media a lot easier.
Social Media Apps and Tools
Tailwind has actually made my life easy. It’s one of the social media apps that is designed to schedule pins/posts for Pinterest and Instagram. Manually posting a large amount of pins everyday can take time. But if you are using these social media to increase your online presence, posting a few a day is one of the required tasks. With Tailwind, its easy to schedule for the whole week. I started pinning 10 pins a day. However, with Tailwind, I’m now able to post at least 50 pins a day. Tailwind has also helped me get approved for Magic Links affiliate program. (See the other affiliate programs I joined in)
Hootsuite is another scheduling tool for social media. This is one of the social media apps I use to schedule posts for Twitter, Faceook Page and LinkedIn. It’s a free tool for up to 3 social media accounts and up to 30 posts a month. If you want to add more, you need to pay for the upgrade which starts at $29/month (billed annually).
Plann is an Instagram planning and scheduling tool which also has free option but with limited features. They give you 30 posts a month for free account and unlimited uploads for paid accounts. They have in-app editing tool and you can even plan your Instagram layout before you post it.
Unsplash is an image gallery free for personal or commercial use. This is where I get the images I use for posting on my social media accounts as well as blog posts.
Canva is an editing tool to help you create posts and pins for your social media accounts. They offer thousands of different layouts and its actually easy to use even for beginners. I’ve used Canva to create my logo as well as the images I post on my social media accounts and blog posts.
Ease of Use
There are so many tools available on web and on mobile that you can use to manage your social media accounts. But for me, these are the tools that I always use and have come to love for their ease of use.
